The master assassins were elite members of the secret organization called Ghost Cell during the Cold War. They were best melee fighters of the organization who mastered stealth-based combat to the top level. There only handful of them within the cell, but despite their skills and training, they were all killed when Imperial Intelligence agent Cipher Nine infiltrated Ghost cell's secret base at the Dune Sea on the planet Tatooine with a task to eliminate the organization.
